The Particle Accelerator community uses Pearson Current Monitor for a variety of applications in the area of high energy physics. These include measuring current in pulse power modulators, particle beams, and kicker magnets. Pearson Electronics has had a long and close relationships with all of the high energy physics laboratories throughout the world. The first Pearson Current Monitor was developed to measure the pulse-current in the pulse modulator of the Mark III accelerator at Stanford in 1950.
